智利的商业环境在拉美数一数二，清廉指数也一样，现在智利国内最低工资标准大约270000智利比索，合人民币4100元左右（智利每年7月份都会根据国家实际CPI和汇率等消费水平调整当年的最低工资标准），表面看智利的人均GDP很高，近乎达到了16000美元,但是基尼指数过高，贫富差距也进一步拉大。智利的支柱产业--矿山、冶金行业的快速发展掩饰了普通民众收入不高的现实。眼下的智利由于本身稀缺油气资源，发电成本极高，电价在拉美各国中基本处于最高位置。

Nowadays, the cost of generatingelectric, basically seen as the highest position inLatin America, is too expensive because of the shortage of oil resources.

智利的两极分化很严重，富豪可以买飞机、开游艇、置办庄园；而贫下中农过的日子很拮据，所以对大部分人来说，接受高等教育仍旧是翻身的不二法门。但是，智利的法律很健全。
The polarization in Chile is extremethat the rich can purchase the plane, drive yacht and buy manor, while thepoor live a poor life in countryside. So as for most of people, it’s still the bestway to change their fate by getting higher education. But the law in Chile isvery complete.
