POWERGRID invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for aforesaid Packages. Bidding Documents are available for inspection & sale from 27/09/2011 to 11/11/2011 and can be purchased by paying INR 25,000/- or US$ 500 in the form of demand draft in favour of Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. payable at New Delhi/ Gurgaon. Bids shall be received upto 1100 hrs. on 18/11/2011 and shall be opened on the same day at 1130 hrs. (IST). The detailed Qualifying Requirements are given in the Bidding Documents of the subject package. The complete Bidding Documents including tender drawings are available on our website http://www.powergridindia.com. Interested bidders can download the Bidding Documents and commence preparation of bids to gain time. However, they will be required to purchase the Bidding Documents from POWERGRID, (for submission of bid), which will be duly authenticated by the executive issuing the documents. In case of any discrepancy between the documents downloaded by the prospective bidder and the Bidding Documents (hard copy) issued by POWERGRID official, the latter shall prevail.
POWERGRID has adopted the Integrity Pact Program (IPP) in line with the guidelines of Central Vigilance Commission, details of which are available in the Bidding Documents. Under this IPP, Shri RSSLN Bhaskarudu & Shri Arvind Pande shall be the Independent External Monitor for Package GIS-2 & Package GIS-3 respectively.
